Author Robert Parish's story overturns many of the perceived ideas regarding how South Vietnamese Army fought. South Vietnam's elite 3rd Battalion, 5th Recon Company and the G-2 Recondos were eventually wiped out by the communists when the U.S. Congress refused to approved Vietnam's request for emergency ammunition and support in 1975. 291 pages with 8 pages of photos and 7 maps.
