Task Force 115, Market Time, had the responsibility for coastal patrol, and interception of enemy gun runners on the high seas by the Navy and Coast Guard.
Task Force 116, Game Warden, carried the war up the rivers and canals as far as their shallow draft boats would go. Used modified landing craft, Swift Boats, helicopters and armed Bronco.
Task Force 117, Mobile Riverine Force / MRF, was equiped with gunboats, armored troop carriers, and a Brigade of the 9th Infantry Division to operate through the roadless Mekong Delta.
